New installation method (Tanks Blitz)

Advantages of using the new installation method

  • Really easy and fast installation: does not require Shizuku
  • Mod Manager: You can delete and disable mods individually
  • More mods are available: Many old mods will return (those that were hidden in the 10.1 update)
  • A clean client is always at hand: you don’t need to delete the game itself, you can always log in to the original client.
  • And much more: we are planning to add new functionality!

How do I use the new installation method?

  1. Download the ForBlitz Updater application – this is our application for convenient downloading and updating of our applications, including Tanks Blitz: ForBlitz Edition: download ForBlitz Updater (clickable)
  2. We update ForBlitz to the current version in a convenient way (you can do it directly through ForBlitz Updater or alternative methods (clickable). The “Mod Manager” should appear in the bottom menu
  3. On the main page of the Updater, Tanks Blitz: ForBlitz Edition is displayed. You need to download and install/update it to the current version.
  4. We launch Tanks Blitz: ForBlitz Edition, grant permission to access all files and download the first resources of the game. It is not necessary to download HD textures.
  5. Now the mod manager is working and you can install mods on the modified APK of the game (you need to select it when choosing a game)
  6. Mods are removed from the modified APK via the mod manager: swipe the mod left or right.

The modified APK does not have a donation store and authorization via Google. You can still use the store through the original APK of the game.

How to install third-party mods (not with ForBlitz):

Our installation method supports the installation of any modifications from third-party resources.

  1. Download the mod we are interested in
  2. Open the archive with this mod, look for the following folders there: 3d, Gfx, WwiseSound, Configs (and so on) – these are the mod files
  3. Copy these folders (these are the files with the mod) along the path Android/media/ru.forblitz/externalmods
  4. Go to the ForBlitz settings and turn on the “Enable externalmods” switch there
  5. We go into the game and enjoy the mods, which can even be downloaded from other resources.
